The Mechatronik M-SL offers a modern Mercedes-Benz V8 in the beautiful body of the Pagoda. The classic SL is completely restored by the renowned Mercedes specialist Mechatronik and then built with contemporary technology. Chassis and brakes are adjusted to handle the 279 hp of the 4.3 V8. There are 1500 man-hours in an M-SL, which costs it more than 300,000 euros. For that you do get modern art on wheels.
The Mechatronik M-SL is being developed just north of Stuttgart. Mechatronik has built a formidable reputation as a Mercedes-Benz restorer in over thirty years. One of the best in the world. For several years they have also made their own models under the name New Tech-Series, including this M-SL. A W113 SL from the second half of the sixties with modern technology.
