Legalising assisted dying won't lead to 'slippery slope', Labour MP Kim Leadbeater says

Later this month, Labour MP Kim Leadbeater will bring a Bill to the House of Commons to legalise assisted dying.

This is the first time the contentious topic has been debated there since 2015, when another bill was defeated.

Ms Kim Leadbeater told Sky News there is a misconception that in countries where assisted dying has been introduced, the scope has been broadened over time.
