28 | Dnipropetrovsk (3/3) | GC43 - Panzer Corps

24th August 1943 - As decreed by High Command, it is here the last barrier against Bolshevism is to be defended. Unfortunateley this means there is much work to be done. At least two, possibly three major Soviet battle groups are converging von Dnipropetrovsk, and one of these formations has already crossed the Dnieper at Zaporozhye to the south! The Soviets have seized the initiative with this new assault. For the first time, we will be forced to react to their attacks in a defensive role. My mission is to hold the line against the Soviet onslaughts, but to truly defeat this attack, I will need to push the Russians back over the Dnieper completely and reclaim all lost objectives. ------------------------- Difficulty is set to Rommel and we are trying to do a blind run with a historical unit composition.
