Replacing Brasscraft multiturn angle shutoff valve washers

This type of angle shutoff valve frequently leaks and becomes a major pain when you have to replace the water supply lines and the water can't be turned of.  Instead of replacing the whole valve, you can just replace the washer inside. The washer diameter is approximately .48 inches or 12.3mm and .12 inch or 3mm thick. Buy a pack of 10 half inch flexible washers at HomeDepot or plumbing supplies.  The washer is easily installed as there is no brass screw and the washer just fits over a nylon stem.
If the valve stem is broken, you can buy a repair kit at home depot for $3. It is called BrassCraft Multi turn valve stem repair kit ModelBCSR01.  The whole angle valve assembly is $10 but who wants to solder or otherwise reinstall the whole unit.
