Curds or "dahi" is an item that Indian households consume at all times of the day. But what is essential to make a good chaat, raita, kadhi, etc are good fresh curds.
Preparation Time: 2 minutes. Cooking Time: 2 minutes. Makes: 2½ cups.
½ litre (2 ½ cups) full-fat milk

2. Spread the curds evenly at the bottom of a deep bowl.
3. Pour the lukewarm milk and mix well.
4. Cover with a lid and keep aside in a warm place for 4 hours or till the curds set.
