Within recent times, a number of tumultuous events have impacted the world in a very adverse manner.
Whilst we continue to come to terms with those harsh realities, we of the Zee Shiv Shakti Dance Company together with the Malick Folk Performing Company, choose to see hope, love and compassion for humanity through the universal language of dance.
Today, we reflect on and reiterate the inspiring words of our National Anthem..."Here every creed and race, find and equal place..."
This presentation of the iconic "The Ganges Meets the Nile" seeks to endorse just that, as we pass the baton to the future generation of this beloved nation.
These little ones, through their innocence and undeniable talent, reflect harmony in diversity, celebrating love, appreciation and respect for all of humanity, regardless of colour, creed, religion or social status...
While religion, politics and other societal norms may divide us; culture will unite us...
