Malaysia’s Anwar Vows Gradual Debt Reduction

Malaysia's Prime Minister, Anwar Ibrahim, says his government will work to gradually lower the nation's debt, without resorting to raising taxes that hurt the poor. In his first international media interview since taking office, Anwar told Bloomberg he wants good governance to attract global investors.
