From a simple, family-run cashew nut farm, founder Mr. Mohamed Senior expanded his business as a merchandiser of small goods in 1955. GSM is the exclusive distributor of Haier electronics, a leading manufacturer of home appliances and consumer electronics, which are energy efficient, economical and affordable.
GSM is also a distributor of high-quality food products, including coconut cream and yeast. Offerings will soon expand to include cooking oil and rice from the best manufacturers, to supply consumers with delicious and nutritious food products.
GSM Spares offers quality spare parts, tires, and lubricants. GSM is also the exclusive importer of Tiger Head batteries from China; Marco batteries from China; and Everstart batteries from Korea.
GSM has partnered with experts from China to establish it’s steel manufacturing company, providing an end-to-end solution on steel construction materials. GSM has also expanded its product range to furniture solutions, tailored to meet the needs of its customers.
GALCO Ltd is GSM’s trusted third-party logistics provider (3PL), playing a crucial role in efficiently distributing goods across Eastern, Southern, and Central Africa, providing Clearing and Forwarding Services, Import/Export services, Inland Container Depot (ICD), Container Freight Stations, Cargo transportation and Storage.
GSM is developing a line of innovative, value-driven and delicious beverages. From water, carbonated soft drinks and juice, GSM’s goal is to craft beverages that delight the senses, and provide delightful sips for every occasion.
GSM’s promotions include billboards, radio and television advertisements, social media campaigns, and roadshows. GSM’s sponsorship of the Young Africans Sports Club provides massive exposure to consumers. GSM’s branded malls, industrial parks and office towers also promote the company’s presence.
