Does Disk Speed Affect Gaming? SSD vs HDD vs NAS Benchmarks

Using a faster disk, such as an SSD, will typically give you better read and write performance compared to an older HDD, but how does this affect PC gaming? In these tests I’ve run some benchmarks with different games to give you an idea in terms of frames per second (FPS) of how they perform running from a HDD, SATA 3 SSD, PCI Express SSD, and NAS.
