Both speakers were $500 new. Some people love and some hate the HTM61. I think both speakers are amazing and you won't go wrong with any, but the HTM61 is less harsh, it's more accurate and the mids are tighter than LCR600 S3. The LCR600 S3 however has it's strengths, the soundstage seems better, and it is more detailed on low volume. HTM61 becomes better after 35% volume.
