How to install portable AC unit when you have casement windows (or crank out windows)

Here’s how I have installed my portable AC units when I have crank-out windows, also known as casement windows. It’s not as straightforward as when you have a single hung window, but it’s not that complicated either. This project took me about two hours of work.
