Hiroshi Ishiguro built a 130cm children robot, designed to learn as a real child does. He can sense his surroundings through microphones in his ears and cameras in his eyes and is slowly developing social skills when interacting with humans. The engineering Minoru Asada, team’s leader behind CB2, hopes the child-robot will start to speak in two years. This robot is one of the first creations that are able of learning abilities with time, just as a human.
