Traveling to Undiscovered places in Kashmir is actually and tasting the Best food is discovering Paradise and Tulian Lake in Pahalgam, Kashmir has to be one of the most beautiful Trekking Lakes in India. On day two we started our journey from Pahalgam to Bysaran, also known as Mini Switzerland of India. First, we bought all the food, chicken, mutton, tea, coffee and a lot more stuff for the camp on the hills and to make Masala Chicken Biryani at the camp.
We reached Bysaran by Car.
We trekked from Bysaran to Marg for about 8 Kms and stayed at the utmost luxury in the lap of nature, in a Gojjar or Gujjar Kotha. This was a cottage made of Pine trees / Devdaar Trees and must have been owned by a Bakarwal, an indigenous Shepherd community of Kashmir. It took us about 4 Hrs to reach here. Stayed there for the night and made Kashmiri Chicken Curry and Rice for dinner in the lap of nature and the Next day tasted the Most AMAZING MASALA CHICKEN BIRYANI in India and Kashmiri Mutton TUJJ.
It is places like these that define the true beauty of Kashmir and the reason why Kashmir is called Paradise on Earth. The next morning from Marg it was another 4 Kms hike up to Tulian Lake. It was certainly the most gorgeous and the most beautiful lake I have ever seen. Hypnotic in the true sense.
