After dropping out in my final year, I completed my graduation at 27! #shethepeople

“When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.’ In 2016, at the age of 22, I dropped out of engineering college right before my final year because I couldn't clear mathematics. I did try a few more times, but I couldn't do it anymore. I gave up and decided to move ahead with my work.

I was working as a graphic designer and a creator already by then, but over the years I kept having panic attacks about an unstable future. Cut to January 2021, when one call from my professor changed everything. I could have never imagined, even in my dreams, that I'll get a call from my college professor. To my surprise, I got another chance to complete my engineering. I got to experience online classes & attend college as well. Yes, I was back at college all over again. And this time not to give up! My mom has been my greatest support, and she always wanted me to complete my graduation. This time I had to do it not only for myself but for my mom's belief.

On 17th May 2022, my final semester examination in college began on my birthday. Again, those few months were tough personally in family and I thought, I might not be able to clear it again but I DID IT!! I took the next step towards the realization of my dream: “I am so blessed and thankful that my mother's support got me through college.

Now, graduation is not a big deal but the journey I had just made it very overwhelming for me. It was my mom's dream. If nothing, I wanted to do it for her. From being bullied at college to getting called back after years, the circle is complete now. A degree isn't just a piece of paper and education never goes to waste. I graduated at 27 and it couldn't have been any better! Go get that degree, it's never too late to be what you could have been!”
