What is India Vix (India VIX Kya He)?
India VIX or Volatility Index is a measure of market’s expectation of volatility over the near term. Volatility is often described as the rate and magnitude of change in prices. It is also referred as risk.
Invest VIX is India's first and only volatility Based index. Basically, it indicates investor's perception of volatility in the next 30 days, and it is also known as fear index.
India VIX is a measure, of the amount by which Nifty is expected to fluctuate in the next 30 days. India VIX is calculated using out of the money (OTM) options order book data of Nifty.
How to calculate India VIX?
Basically, IndiaVIX Based on a methodology of (Chicago Board of Exchange VIX) CBOE VIX. This will calculate on the basis S&P500. Using same methodology India VIX will calculate.
