I tried 13 different ways of dressing to stay cool on a hot summer bike commute. Here's the best

Hot, dry, smoky. That's been my summer, and that's what summer has been like in a lot of places. And I've found it difficult to bike commute through this summer because of the heat -- finding the right clothing so I don't arrive at my destination a hot, sweaty mess has been tough! So I decided to do the legwork to figure out the best way of dressing in the summer for your transportation bicycling needs. This isn't necessarily about cycling clothing. Rather it's about dressing for the destination, not the journey. So I gathered 13 different styles of dressing -- different styles, cuts and materials -- to find the best option, using an office workplace as a guide. And you may be as surprised as I was by the results.
