Australia's local hero | Sunrise

The 2024 Australia Day honours have been announced, and amongst the award recipients was the country's Local Hero.

A chance discovery in 1999 led David Elliott and his wife to create the award-winning Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum of Natural History, and it's helped put their outback Queensland community on the map.
