Great fashion story showing how women are wearing the trousers in 1964.

Beatnik type girl is seen wearing white jeans and a black PVC jacket.  She looks at her watch then walks down the street.  Another woman is seen in trousers, this time a very posh pink trouser and coat suit with hat to match.  Woman walks up to some traffic lights and takes off her jacket.  C/U of the trousers.

A boy scout is amazed to see a woman wearing short trousers.  He helps her aboard his ship.

A woman wearing culottes gets up from a park bench and walks towards some trees. She wears patterned tights and hat to match.

Exotic creation is modelled on the steps of "Quents".  The outfit features turquoise trousers with a pleated chiffon overskirt - it is quite something.  The design is by the Rahvis sisters "one of London's best known designing teams."  The model poses.  Two other models emerge from the Rahvis salon wearing lace dresses with lacy bloomers underneath - very odd.

A very posh car pulls up at the Hilton and a woman wearing a gold and sky blue trouser suit - a cocktail outfit.  Her beau takes her to the London Hilton Jewellers and she admires the diamonds (still being a girl's best friend the narrator informs us).

Film ends with a woman getting married in trousers - shocking!  Nice lace trouser suit with train to match - hubby wears a kilt.

Narrator makes lots of jokes about women wearing the trousers these days.

Cuts exist - see other records.
