Workout Wednesday: 400m World Age Group Record-Holder Jonathan Simms Hits Broken 600s

MileSplit was in Allen, Texas in January to catch up with Allen High School junior Jonathan Simms, who broke a world age group record for 16 year olds in August when he ran 45.12 seconds for 400 meters. That performance also broke the Texas state record, set a new sophomore class record and was an overall AAU Junior Olympic Games record. This season, Simms is back and looking to chase after his latest ambitions. Allen is the reigning UIL Texas Class 6A champion in the 400m.

Warm-up + Activation
3 x (3x200), 45 secs in between reps, Five minutes rest in between sets
