The TC Electronic Ditto+ Looper
The TC Electronic Ditto+ Looper Pedal - Mini / Review & Test - Looper Pedals Are Used in Many Different Ways but for me - This Video Explains Why I Use One...
The TC Electronic Ditto+ Looper Pedal Mini - What is it? Do you really need one? Are they easy to use? And why did I buy one when I have a Mooer GE250 multi-effects unit with a built-in looper? A quick note for those not sure why the pedal is called – ‘Ditto’ – quite simply, the word ‘Ditto’ just means 'Again' or 'Duplicate' – so; considering what the pedal does, it’s aptly named. The + (plus) symbol simply refers to the fact that, this pedal is an update to the original ‘Ditto’ pedal, hence the name Ditto+.
The TC Ditto+ is able to save or store up to 99 recorded loops including a USB connection to download WAV 44.1 Hz format audio files; great for backing track practice jams. Other features include the ability to undo and redo overdubs and create extended loops if required. This little unit also sports a very neat high resolution colour display. As with other TC Electronic pedals I own, this has a very robust feel and certainly packs a lot of features into a small mini-size pedal footprint. While it’s a very useful little tool, it can’t of course cover everything, and for those needing greater menu features and single foot-switch control, TC Electronic does offer a range of larger units. While this video is not an exhaustive review on the pedal, it does cover most features… Enjoy!
