As 'British Baroque: Power and Illusion' opens at Tate Britain, Tatler’s Art Editor Helen Rosslyn takes a look at one of London’s Baroque highlights. It's a work widely thought to be Britain’s answer to Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: the Painted Hall in the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich. She talks to the Martin Ashley, the surveyor of the Fabric to the Greenwich Foundation, about the Baroque masterpiece that was a major political statement at the time of its creation in 1707.
