Victorian Goldfields Railway - Return to Service of J549, May 2024

Steam locomotive J549 returned to service on the Victorian Goldfields Railway in May 2024 after being out of service for nearly 500 days.

J549s first day back in service was on Saturday 11th May when it hauled the "Victorian Colonial Express" service.

The locomotive is also seen running regular public services on 12th May and 26th May.
