1. In order to turn off Hyper-V mode, run the following command at the host in windows command-line with Administrator privileges:
bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
(If you ever want to go back to Hyper-V mode again, then you can enable it like this:
bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype auto)
2. Reboot the system to activate your changes.
3. Note that you also might have to disable Memory Integrity.

If you are experiencing very slow performances with Alder Lake CPUs, try this:
powercfg /powerthrottling disable /path "C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware Workstation\x64\vmware-vmx.exe"
Note: Turning off Hyper-V may make WSL2 unusable. You will have to turn on Hyper-V before using WSL2.
