Papdi (papri), a round shaped crispy, flaky and deep fried cracker is a key ingredient in many chaat recipes like bhel puri, sev puri, papdi chaat, etc. It can be also served as a stand-alone snack or with a cup of tea/coffee in the afternoon. Readymade papdis are easily available in most of the grocery stores but making them at home is not hard at all and just need the basic cooking knowledge.

Ingredients:
One cup maida
Half teaspoon carom seeds/ajwain
Salt as per taste
Water

पापडी (पापरी), एक गोल आकाराचा कुरकुरीत व फ्लॅकी तळलेला पदार्थ जो भेळ पुरी, शेव पुरी, पापडी चाट इत्यादीसारख्या अनेक चाट पाककृतींमध्ये एक प्रमुख घटक आहे. तो एकटा नाश्ता म्हणून किंवा चहाच्याकपसह देखील दिला जाऊ शकतो. रेडिमेड पापडी बहुतेक किराणा दुकानात सहज उपलब्ध असतात पण ते घरी बनवणे अजिबात अवघड नाही आणि फक्त स्वयंपाकाचे प्राथमिक ज्ञान आवश्यक आहे.
