With some of our other Ridgid testing, we ran impact wrenches over with trucks to prove they can stand up to shop use. In the case of the new brushless line, we want to know that homeowners, DIY'ers and professionals will be able to take these tools to the extreme and still be satisfied with the purchase. The specs on these tools prove the Ridgid brushless line is performing with many professional models and priced so many can afford them. Our plan was to work them for long periods of time with no rest and a constant feed of different tasks with a supply of fresh batteries ready when each was drained. The stations were all set up prior to the start so all that was needed was a bit change and a few steps.
