A Root Cause Diagnosis At Last! Geneticist Appointment - Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Explains So Much!

Six years ago I became completely bed-bound with chronic illness and have spent the majority of my time in bed since.  I had been given some diagnoses and found some answers However, for the most part, the cause of my illness was still unknown. I have been searching for the answers for those unknowns for 11 years (I just hit my worst in 2014). In April 2020, I had a consultation with a geneticist and finally got those answers! I was diagnosed with a genetic connective tissue disorder called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

In this video, I talk about how this diagnosis explained everything. This has allowed me to start getting the help I need, and will hopefully help increase my quality of life. As my journey to finding answers has been a long one, I have started sharing it online to hopefully help and encourage others who are suffering.
