Pegasus in Ancient Mythology
According to the ancients myths, Pegasus, the winged horse was the son from Medusa and Poseidon, the sea god. Pegasus lived on Mount Helicon among the Muses. It was the gods that inspired him to join forces with his half-brother the rider Bellerophon, son of Poseidon and the sea goddess Eurynome. Both of them were tasked with defeating Chimera, a terrifying monster, part lion, part goat, part snake.
