This recipe of Stewed Fruits is the way to go if you are planning on bake Christmas Black, Fruit Cake. Loads of spices, tons of flavors. *Ingredients* 1 1b Currant 1 1b Raisins 1 1b prunes (remove seeds and cut if half) 1/2 1b cherries (Any other fruits of your desire) 3 bay leaves 2 cinnamon stick 1/2 tbs ground cinnamon 1 tsp mix spice 1 tbsp vanilla essence 1 bottle rum 1 bottle cherry brandy or (wine of your choice) Boil fruits for 1 1/2 - 2 hours under the lowest heat, check within that time frame add more water if needed. Allow to cool, pour in tight lid container along with Rum and Wine, just enough to cover the fruits, allow to soak for at least a day before baking. Please Note: You could slightly blend fruits after its cooled down, then soak or you could blend on the day of baking. (Remove Bay Leaves and Cinnamon Stick) Thank you for watching 😊
