After a 15 month gestation and a 2 hour and 7 minute labor, Jessie, a 13 year old female Reticulated giraffe, gave birth to her fourth calf at approximately 5:10 pm in the African exhibit on April 21, 2014. The calf is a "little" boy; he stands over 6 feet tall and weighs around 175 pounds. His father is Tonka.
