This Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt '62 Strat's light Alder body is finished in a thin Sonic Blue lacquer, with just the right amount of relic-ing for a comfortable, broken-in feel and a classy vintage appearance. The neck is quartersawn maple with a comfortable 60's oval "C" shape, capped off with a 9.5" radius Indian Rosewood Fretboard and 6105 frets. Abigail Ybarra's handwound 60's spec pickups are the sonic centerpiece of this instrument, generating utterly convincing vintage strat tones in conjunction with 5-way switching.
