This is the first part of the video on Rajashri Shahu Maharaj which is part of Apan Tyanchya Saman Vhave Vyakhyamala by Shri. Avinash Dharmadhikari Sir (Ex - IAS) held in the year 2006. This vyakhyanmala is comprehensively based on Personalities who Shaped, Influenced and Inspired different time periods in India. It seeks to encourage people to follow in the footsteps of these great people.

Rajshri Shahu Maharaj was the light at the end of a long and unending dark tunnel for the oppressed. He was the visionary who cast aside the notion of Castes and worked towards unifying the fragmented Indian Society to fight the common evil of oppression by Foreigners as well as the locals. He provided education and employment to the needy thus uplifting the poor masses of his province.
