Welcome to the Curious Expedition
Welcome to the Curious Expedition 2 Alpha 7, now released on Steam Early Access! Curious Expedition 2 is a sequel to the hugely popular Curious Expedition with updated graphics and animation, enhanced gameplay where every decision can make or break the party and a larger focus on resource management through each individual foray into the unknown.
In this episode we have made it to 1887 after managing to locate the Palikao slab the last time around and I've got a feeling it's going to be a good year as the peeps at Machinen Mensch have done several updates since the last batch of recordings I did with several bug fixes and most importantly they have reintroduced the purchasable camp site! That's right folks, for a measly amount of Francs YOU TOO can own a tent to pop down wherever you please to replenish your sanity! Well, if it still works like that... I better take some food also just to cover me in case it's a 1 use item. We are also tasked to take some co-ordinates for the Taishi Academy in order to figure out where these islands actually are and why we're just discovering them now because, SCIENCE!
So join me as we take our first tentative steps in to the unknown in the Curious Expedition 2!
- Curious Expedition 2 Gameplay Overview -
Curious Expedition 2 is a turn-based expedition roguelike that requires players to manage their resources and party members to keep insanity at bay and find glory.
A grand discovery has been made: mysterious islands that have begun to appear and vanish from the Atlantic as if by magic. The great Explorer Clubs are funding expeditions to these strange islands to bring treasures back for the 1889 World's Fair in Paris. Are you bold enough to join the adventure?
