Database Encryption

These videos accompany a second-year course for Computer Science majors at Adelphi University. All videos were recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic. This course is based on the textbook Connolly, T. and Begg, C. (2015) Database Systems, A Practical Approach to Design, Implementation, and Management. Pearson Education, Inc. ISBN 978-0-13-294326-0. This video includes material from chapter 20, as well as additional materials not covered in the textbook. We discuss the role of cryptography in protecting data in a database.
