President Richard Nixon talks with Henry Kissinger the day after Christmas. After discussing Kissinger's vacation with his children at Key Biscayne, FL, they talk about a bombing raid in Vietnam.

Beginning at 4:26, Nixon and Kissinger discuss the problems that India and Pakistan were then having over Bangladesh.

Kissinger mentions that his former boss Nelson Rockefeller called the day before to wish him Merry Christmas and to agree with Kissinger's stance on India and Pakistan. Unbeknownst to Kissinger, it was Nixon who called Rockefeller and asked him to call Kissinger, because Nixon believed that Kissinger was depressed and needed cheering up.
