Let me start by saying “Don’t judge a book by its cover “ … When we first arrived at Zahra’s Chinese Kitchen, our expectation went down due to the ambiance. However, we met with the owners - Two Brothers who decided to take courageous step towards opening a First of its kind : #Zabiha #HalalChinese Restaurant in #LongIsland. They hired two Chinese chefs; that bring in decades of cooking experience in making “Authentic American #ChineseFood”. A unique opportunity for Muslims to experience the best of both world ( Zabiha #HalalFood cooked by Experience Chinese Chefs ) …
Overall Review of this place is that it’s a Hidden Gem of Long Island and should be a “To-Go” spot for all your Chinese Food cravings. What makes this Restaurant different is the quality of product used on the dishes and all meat prepped at the restaurant are Zabiha Halal meat (hand slaughter, cage free & organic). You will not get this on most Halal or Non-Halal Chinese restaurant. A HUGE PLUS !!!
