Weekend Wankshop 32: The Darkness Open Fire on your soul!!!

So, one of my favorite rock bands in the world, The Darkness, just released a new album for 2015 called "The Last of Our Kind", and i have to tell you.... it rules. I've always adored this band, and this record doesn't let me down in the slightest. SO many killer riffs and solos on this record, all accompanied by Justin Hawkins' completely ridiculous vocals, which i can never seem to get tired of. It's a blast. So in celebration, i cherry picked one of the coolest licks from the song "Open Fire", which is the second single released off the album! This lick is a bulging thrust of D blues scale goodness, even featuring some Eddie Van Halen - style tapping on the bent notes. Totally boss. Playing this killer Aristides 060 with Seymour Duncan pickups, through my Kemper Profiler using a Marshall JCM800 profile, as usual! Such a great tone. Thanks for watching!
