Rishi who has 'dosh' in his birth chart can only get rid of it if a girl with opposite planets in his chart marries him. Tanu and Rishi meet when Tanu saves him in a near-death accident and Rishi ends up falling in love with her. On discovering that Rishi has a problem with his 'kundli', Tanu decides to sacrifice herself for him and marries him. Right after their marriage, Tanu ends up dying in a horrible car accident.
