KTBC news closing and station sign-off (Summer 1984)

Let's try something a little different. Here's a sign-off from Austin, Texas' now-Fox O&O KTBC (now branded as "FOX 7"), back when it was a CBS affiliate owned by Times-Mirror Broadcasting. It starts with the last few seconds of the Channel 7 News 10:00 Report (a rebroadcast, presumably), followed almost immediately by the split-screen Star-Spangled Banner film, which was used by several other stations across the U.S. when signing off. The video concludes with the brief and simple sign-off message, mentioning only ownership information and STL (studio-to-transmitter) link KKO-59 as the female voiceover bids us "good night."
