2. Disable unnecessary startup programs through Task Manager, especially those with high startup impact.

4. Disable the Windows Update service.
5. Clean up your hard drive to get rid of unnecessary system and application junk files.
If you’ve tried all of these methods, and startup speed of your HP laptop isn’t noticeably improved, check your hard drive type. If your laptop uses an old-school hard disk drive (HDD), it’s a good idea to replace it with a faster SSD.
