Wild Suburban Things [vlog] | starting our kitchen design

We spent our July 4th weekend doing all the americana things. It was a loooong 4-day weekend; Thursday repeated itself 3 times and getting to Sunday took about a month,,, is it Monday yet?? I've decided, we're going away for the long weekend next year😅 Like always, the highlight isn't the event itself but in the in-between moments; the little conversations, the cuddles, a golden summer sunset walking us back to our car. We need Monday to come fast but also need time to freeze🥲

In other news, I started the design for our kitchen reno! It's a long time coming-  it took me so long to get over feeling overwhelmed with the daunting task of it all. Since interior design is what I do as my day job, I thought that it would feel like more work but now that I've started, it's all I want to do! Another reminder to self that fear is to be taken with one step forward. The next call of action with the design is to look at materials!
