Part 1 and Book 1
Part 1 and Book 1 of a 100% complete walkthrough for Captain Toad Treasure Tracker on the Nintendo Switch. This video shows the locations for all gems and how to clear all missions in book 1.
This game is available on Wii U (2014), 3DS and Switch (2018).
We complete the following levels (challenge requirements are in brackets):
~ The Secret is in the Stars ~
1: Plucky Pass Beginnings (Gold Mushroom)
2: Walleye Tumble Temple (Don't destroy the bridge)
3: Touchstone Trouble (3 touches)
4: Mushroom Mesa (Defeat all enemies)
~ The Chase to Pyropuff Peak ~
5: Double Cherry Palace (70 coins)
6: Shy Guy Heights (Slip past all Shy Guys)
7: Spinwheel Library (Gold Mushroom)
8: Mine Cart Tunnel Throwdown (Defeat all Para-biddybuds)
9: Spinwheel Bullet Bill Base (Gold Mushroom)
10: Boss Fight - The King of Pyropuff Peak (45 coins)
~ The Hunt for the Great Bird's Lair ~
11: Piranha Creeper Cove (70 coins)
12: Briny Bowl Swimming Hole (Gold Mushroom)
13: Turnip Cannon Jungle (Clear with only 1 shot)
~ Onward, Captain Toad! ~
14: Pop-Up Prairie Town (1-Up Mushroom)
15: Drop-Road Dash (Don't defeat any Para-Biddybuds)
16: Bizarre Doors of Boo Mansion (4 touches)
17: Blizzard on the Star Express (1-Up Mushroom)
~ Operation Rescue Toadette ~
18: Boss Fight - Wingo's Watchtower (70 coins)
Sometimes the level star will be clear, and I have already cleared the stage. In that case I forgot about the challenge requirements and had to re-do it. I'll always show the locations for all 3 gems though.
