Moving the Empire Theater at Times Square

The historic Empire Theatre all 7.4 million pounds of it inched down W. 42nd St. at less than a foot per minute along eight rails stretching west to its new home 168 feet away, near Eighth Ave. in March, 1998. This is in Times Square, in Manhattan in New York City, New York. This video is from "Good Morning America" on ABC.
