In this video, we’re going to cover to about how and why to avoid clearing your throat whether singing or just in general. Here’s 5 basic tips you can do today to help you stop clearing your voice constantly because that can cause damage in your voice and ultimately your singing.
When we clear our throat it can be pretty dramatic to your vocal cords because it ultimately causes the vocal muscles to start grinding. This causes more mucus to be sent to help coat your throat which causes more throat clearing and the vicious cycle continues. So here’s a few of my favorite tips to help fix this problem because the last thing you want to do is hurt your voice especially when you’re about to sing for a performance, audition, karaoke or even speaking at an event.
