Here is perhaps THE BEST audience footage documenting the 1987-88 'House Of Blue Light' era of the newly reformed MK.II lineup of Deep Purple at the time. The song is the main single from the 'House Of Blue Light' album, titled 'Bad Attitude', and the place and date is Vienna, Austria, August 26th 1987.
The song is from Deep Purple's 1987 follow up to 'Perfect Strangers' (1984), 'The House Of Blue Light' album, which is sadly very overlooked by many fans.
The footage is excellent, and the best that is out there when it comes to audience shot video footage from this era. There are no pro-shot complete or official live videos documenting the 1987 'House Of Blue Light' and 1988 'Nobody's Perfect' Tours unfortunatly, so this is perhaps the best we will ever get from this era.
A number of shows in 1987 and '88 was apparently filmed, but has never been released, and probably never will be. The audio here isn't the best, but it's still enjoyable if you ask me.

Note that any negative anti-Ian Gillan or anti-Steve Morse (or related) comments WILL be DELETED immediatly. I'm a big Blackmore fan myself, but that doesn't mean I flame Gillan for he can't sing like he did in 1970, or Steve Morse becaue he isn't copying Blackmore's playing style etc. I love ALL eras of Deep Purple MK.1 to the present MK.8, and think most lineups of Deep Purple have released a lot, or in some cases, at least some great material. Deep Purple is more than only Blackmore, any true Deep Purple fan knows that. That said though, MK.II will always be THE best Deep Purple lineup that released the best material and held the BEST concerts. Any Purple is better than no Purple!

Enjoy!
