This is the second in my series of modern trailers for older films, where I try to mimic the cliches and conventions of modern film trailers as closely as possible and apply them to familiar movies.
With this trailer I wanted to challenge myself - comedy films have changed a lot since Groundhog Day was released and I knew this would be a tough one to do. I've tried to turn it into a kind of indie, quirky film with heart - which is what I imagine it'd be marketed as today, particularly with the presence of Bill Murray.
