How to Get Free, Automatic & Instant Audio Transcription to Text in Zoom | Rev Zoom Apps

You can now enable live transcription during your Zoom meeting for everyone FREE. This means Zoom will listen to everything that is being spoken, and INSTANTLY transcribe it into text so that participants can read what is being said. This is great for accessibility or for when you want to have the sound off in a Zoom meeting. Zoom used to offer this as a free service natively, but they now charge for it, so this is the new method. Rev implements the live transcription by having the Rev Meeting Assistant widget join the meeting.

Zoom introduced "Zoom Apps" recently and has partnered with "Rev.com" to allow the installation of this handy app. The great thing is that it is free for everyone to use. In this video I show you how to enable free and live transcription in Zoom. The Rev Zoom App also keeps a recording of the spoken content, as well as providing a written transcription after the meeting. The transcript is fully searchable and shareable.
