The video shows how I paint abstract pink water lilies on a water surface. I use a bright metallic tone in gold and the pearl colours in blue and green as a shiny layer of paint. I create my background using four colour tones to achieve this wonderful shade of green. I then start my abstract acrylic painting on a large canvas with the metallic colour "Gold". Gerhard Richter's abstract painting and squeegee technique has always fascinated me. His large-format paintings with the different colour areas are great abstract paintings. In this video, I paint an abstract acrylic painting on a square canvas in the style of Gerhard Richter. To apply the acrylic paint, I first use a synthetic brush and a smoothing trowel from the DIY store. After my background colour has dried, I start with the individual layers of paint.
