SV. England and Portugal walk onto pitch at start of the football World Cup semi-final match between Portugal and England. Portugal nearest camera. SV. Referee tosses. LV. Crowd. LV. As England kick off, zoom back to general view. Portugal get possession and start an attack. LV. The ball is centred Torres gets his head to it. Gordon Banks runs out and punches clear. LV. The ball being passed about in midfield. LV. England forward gets a shot in and Pereira has to go down low to hold it. LV. Crowd. LV. England starting another attack. Bobby Moore passes the ball up field. LV. As Roger Hunt runs onto the ball, Pereira runs out and dives, knocking the ball out to Bobby Charlton who hits first time and the ball goes into the net for England's first goal. GV. Crowd cheering. LV. The Portuguese attacking, a forward gets in a shot and Banks makes a brilliant save. SV. Corner is taken by a Portuguese player and the ball headed towards the goal by another forward. SV. Another forward heads the ball and Banks catches the ball. GV. England attacks. Martin Peters tries a shot and Pereira has to go low to stop it. GV. Portugal attack. The ball comes across the goal to Eusebio who hits the ball first time and Banks dives and makes a good save. GV. Crowd at half time. LV. Portugal kick off and start an attack. LV. As the ball is centred from the right wing. Banks punches clear. The ball goes to another Portuguese player who tries a shot but goes wide. LV. England attacking. Bobby Moore centres the ball from right wing. LV. As the players jump for ball and is headed clear by Portuguese. GV. The ball is passed to Eusebio who runs right down the middle of the field before passing to the right wing. GV. Right winger tries a shot but Banks catches it quite easily. GV. Crowd. GV. Geoff Hurst with the ball lays on a beautiful pass for Charlton to run onto and score. GV. Crowd, & LV. GV. Portugal attacking. The ball is centred from right wing and another forward heads it towards goal.
It is a certain goal until Jack Charlton pulls it away with his hand. GV. Crowd. LV. Through the net as Eusebio takes the penalty and scores. SV. Crowd. GV. England attacks.
