In this video, we're going to talk about how to achieve a good extraction result when using the Sage Barista Express espresso machine. Achieving a good extraction is crucial for producing a delicious and high-quality espresso, and it requires the right combination of coffee dose, yield, and extraction time.

For a single shot espresso, a good extraction result can be achieved with an 11g dose, a 22g yield, and an extraction time of around 30 seconds. To achieve this result, it's important to use freshly ground coffee beans and tamp them firmly into the portafilter. Then, place the portafilter in the machine and start the extraction process.

For a double shot espresso, a good extraction result can be achieved with an 18g dose, a 36g yield, and an extraction time in the range of 30 to 35 seconds. As with a single shot, it's important to use fresh coffee beans and tamp them firmly into the portafilter before starting the extraction process.
