Los Angeles Police Department Metropolitan Division units and Los Angeles Fire Department Fast Response 401 (using EM25) responding to a barricaded man with a gun.
LAPD Divisions assigned: AIR3, 77th Div., SW Div, & Metro Div.
LAFD Units assigned: BC13, E66, RA266, TL1, & FR401
77th Division units received a call for a 415 man with a gun on a bus shortly before 1000 hrs. Air 3 located the bus on Normandie Ave. X Gage Ave. and followed the suspect to Normandie Ave. X 47th St. where he exited. A short foot pursuit ensued and the suspect entered a unit of an apartment complex; a perimeter was established and additional resources called. The suspect was taken into custody shortly after 1430 hrs., no injuries reported.
